REBATES:

So Cal Gas

Southern California Gas customers who switch from a storage tank water heater to a tankless water heater may qualify for a rebate.

Tankless Water Heater models are eligible as follows (Until Dec 2025):

  • $1,500 REBATE AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFYING MODELS WITH A UEF OF 0.98 AND UP

  • $1,300 REBATE AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFYING MODELS WITH A UEF OF 0.96 - 0.97

    $1,100 REBATE AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFYING MODELS WITH A UEF OF 0.95

  • $800 REBATE AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFYING MODELS WITH A UEF OF 0.87 - 0.94

Federal Tax Credit up to a maximum of $600

  1. Gas storage water heaters

    ENERGY STAR certified Gas Storage water heater models are eligible as follows:

    • > 0.81 UEF for tanks less than 55 gallons and

    • > 0.86 UEF for tanks greater than or equal to 55 gallons.

  2. Tankless gas water heaters

  • ENERGY STAR models with > 0.95 UEF are eligible.
